Not sure why Mr. Orpen chose to reply to this particular post with his
gripes about Adobe's business practice. The points he makes have
nothing whatsoever to do with the subject of the original post.
This is a professional forum, is it not?

Always nice to read what Karl writes.
Shame about the publisher though. Stuff like this makes you want to
believe that Adobe care about these issues.
But then you remember that they:
1. Charge you double for the same products in the UK and Europe
2. Sell Royalty Free images through PS
3. Feed print jobs to their suppliers of choice through Acrobat
And you'd wonder why you don't see more papers from them about
"Maximising Profit" and "Bleeding Your Customers with 18 month
upgrade cycles" because they spend a lot more time considering these
matters than they do on giving pro photographers what they really want.
