Roberto:
I wonder where did I put those two LP retail packages, unopened, which
I had in stock after they reduced the price from $8000 to $1000
overnight.
I think you can still buy it on eBay for $20. : >)
I wanted to add that I went over the sales material for SILKYPIX and
they say it works on JPEG/TIFF files in "outline" form in order to
build files with the least degradation. This sounds similar, in words
at least, to the Live Picture approach, yet I have no idea what's
going on "under the hood". They offer a lot of image, NR, sharpening,
and color adjustments, similar to PS, yet only offer output in sRGB
and AdobeRGB, which could hurt if you wanted a ProPhoto RGB to work
from, for some reason.
