Yes, sorry I meant tones in brilliant saturated colors that you also can
differentiate and I guess those will be ³squeezed² in by the profile to the
limited gamut, so both colors and details can be ³lost².
Is that in the graphic card or in the screen itself? If someone use an
external monitor for the laptop will that one as well be in 6 bit?
Wouldn't that be nice if all display manufacturers could use Ugra Display
Analysis and Certification Tool as a test before putting it out on the
market, it would be like an ISO certification and also a quality stamp. That
would be a good selling argument...
