That may or not be true, but it's still a presumptuous thing to say, and
sounds very condescending too, specially if speaking to a non-scientific
crowd without proving one's argument before it's brought forth in such an
openly provocative manner.

Also, it's highly inconsequential to whether or not the science on which the
DeltaE 2000 is based is "rubbish". Is it or is it not? Or are we just
trading in flawed syllogisms? (of the type: So much science is hopelessly
flawed > The DeltaE 2000 equation is based on science > Therefore...DeltaE
2000 must be hopelessly flawed?)

Let's see the evidence, instead. Otherwise, it's just venting. As for
opinions, we all know how the saying goes about opinions and what they are
like...and it's not fit for polite conversation in this forum.
