Using PMP on a paper that I know has optical brighteners (Epson Enhanced
Matte)
Measure the target and build a profile with UV Cut checked.
Do the same(starting completely over) with UV Cut No checked.
Take a look at your saved data using the compare function of Measuretool.
What I see is the exact same data in density.
Some differences in color.
