There is a paper accompanying your EyeOne Pro that states when the device is
due for recalibration.
The one-page paper is titled "Certificate of Performance". It states your
model, serial number, specifications of the inspection results before you
bought it, and, at the end, the "Next Calibration Due Date", which for my
EyeOne Pro Rev B is one year after purchase.

You could try to get measurement tiles from a number of companies:
Labsphere:
Gray-Scale Standards:
<http://www.labsphere.com/productdetail.aspx?id=549>
Labsphere:
Color Standards:
<http://www.labsphere.com/productdetail.aspx?id=548>
CERAM:
<http://www.ceram.com/colours/colours.htm>
I believe that all of these measurement tiles come with certified
measurement values for each tile, against which you can compare the
measurements achieved with your device, and from there determine how far the
device is from the expected values.
One "little" catch is that these measurement tiles are *expensive*, and it
might just be cheaper just to send the device in to GretagMacbeth/XRite for
recalibration, unless you can justify the expense because you have several
spectrophotometers.
Regards.
