This brings to mind a question I was trying to find an answer to
recently - Is there a recommended period after which an EyeOne should
be recalibrated?
The official answer is of course 'annually', but real world for a
well looked after device? Has anyone a recommendation?
Is there a way of doing a check on accuracy assuming the Diagnostic
is coming up fine?
Thanks,
Nick.
But when I went back later and re-measured I got a new measurement
of 4.83 –
which is now under the <5 dE –
On what printer, ink, paper combo.
how long time after the printing was the first measurement done and
when was the second done? I am of course suspecting that the print
has changed between measurements so you can fully expect the same
measurements.
Have you tried making several consecutive measurements, with
calibration in between and without? This will give you a more
accurate picture of the instrument variability...
