Unless I'm wrong, LaCie just re-brands the NEC units, so you get to pay an extra 20% to have their name on NEC's equipment. Wild, eh? Check the specs on both sites - they are virtually identical.

I have an NEC MultiSync LCD2690WUXi - excellent product. Get Karl's basICColor display4 to calibrate and profile it. You'll be amazed. Just make sure if you're in NA that you get the Spectra View version so you can access the hardware LUTs in the unit.

The non-SV unit doesn't let you access the LUTs - you have to use NEC's software to do that. Go figure.
