There are two monitor calibration tools on the market designed for this. One
is the EyeOne Beamer, which (last time I looked ) was over a thousand dollars
in the configuration that allows projector calibration, or Spyder2PRO (two
hundred and some odd dollars), which has projector calibration in all recent
versions.
