Also, do not forget to repair permissions at the end of your copying and system-setup procedure, or you may experience strange behavior in Mac OSX. Possibly, it is not an absolutely necessary thing to do, but I would advise it.
You can repair permission either using Mac OS X's own Disk Utility, or a maintenance application like Cocktail (<http://www.maintain.se/cocktail/download.html>). I personally find Cocktail to be a more effective and reliable tool.
