I am going to be profiling an inexpensive Viewsonic 23" LCD display
which is connected via DVI to a windows xp box. The monitor has both contrast and brightness control, and it lets you either pre secelt color temp, 5K,
6500K, srgb, or custom which allows you to adjust RGB separately. I have
available to me an eye one pro, ProfileMaker 5.08, eye one match of course and Monaco Profiler 4.8.
My question is first which app should I use?
Second since I want to calibrate to 6500K should I select 6500K on the
monitor or should I try to dial it in with the RGB controls on the display or should I use "native white point"
Any other tips would be great.
Thanks
