Conceptually, but it's more refined than that, the 3.5 nm samples
are resampled using a sync like resampling filter to 10nm.
This means that there is some measure of deconvolution
(or "sharpening") happening, as well as due attention
to wavelength calibration, smoothness and uniformity
of the overall wavelength response.
