ColorEyes Display Pro has come up a few times in this (very helpful)
thread, and I was wondering if anyone using it has had any issues
with the luminance tracking feature.
I use CEDP on 15 Eizo CG210 monitors (using a DTP94) and similar to
Kristy I can report that the monitors all visually "look" the same
and generally speaking everyone in the shop is quite happy with the
monitor profiles that CEDP is generating. We set CEDP to set
luminance to 150 cd/m2 on all monitors. When we look at the luminance
tracking chart, the "max luminance" tends to bounce around, anywhere
from 150 to 250 cd/m2 on any given monitor from week to week, which
makes that chart pretty useless.
I've talked to the guys at Integrated Color and they attribute it to
a "bug" and they recommended reseting the monitor manually before
running CEDP because CEDP was having problems resetting the
luminance, but this did not necessarily help. However, I'm running
1.21 (for Mac) and I just went to the website and see the
announcement for 1.30 so maybe this issue has been addressed in the
latest version. Has anyone experienced similar problems in the past
with CEDP and if so, does version 1.30 fix it?
Thanks for any input.
