Could be that's all there is to it. Also, don't forget "factor 13", 13" in
front of the monitor (namely, the person). Until recently, I was always
checking "smooth gray balance" in IDEA Link Curves. Turned out that was
sub-optimal for what I was trying to do. So, on top of all the factors you
enumerated, Mike, there could be some other "hidden" road blocks. And, as
you see, it has nothing to do with paper or ink or the press. So, it may not
be such a bad idea they're working over.
