Hi, I have a problem that I'm trying to solve since I have Aperture
2.x I've search everywhere and done everything, however it seems that
something is missing or wrong.
I've calibrated my iMac and using the icc profile. It's saved on
Library > ColorSync > Profiles > Displays and I also checked that is
set as the current profile.
I have a HP Photosmart C5180 and have installed the icc profiles for
all the types of paper produced by HP for this printer. The profiles
are installed on Library > ColorSync > Profiles.
What I don't understand is why when I'm selecting either in Aperture
or Photoshop Elements that the application is the one that manages the
color and then on each application I select the profile for the kind
of paper I'm using on my printer, then the picture shows and prints
them with a color cast. Even when I'm proofing on the screen and
select the profile I will use when printing.
Strange is, that when I select on PSE that the printer is the one that
manages the colors, then I get "perfect" prints (using the same tactic
on Aperture doesn't work, it produces darker prints).
Does anybody knows what it might be?
Thanks
Daniel
