Are you trying to fill the text box with the spot colour? The spot colour object must be a separate
object otherwise the only thing that has a drop shadow is the text box. I have repeated this in
InDesign CS 2. but, as Olaf has pointed out, CS3 treats the drop shadow a little differently.
