Thanks Mark, thanks Yves. I've been to the fogra site & found it very
helpful.

As I'm sure you're both aware, we diligently put wedges on our proofs and
actually measure them (I'm sure that's a rarity ;-) ), so we have no issue
with day to day proof certification (although we are running 3DAPv2 for most
things, not ISO/fogra). You did bring up another point that either I missed
or wasn't there when reading the draft standard...There seems to be no
mention of a period after which the whole production system needs to be
re-certified. I'm looking at it from our point of view as a proof provider,
so I'm going of the requirements of Annex A for production proofs in the
field, and it states it has to be demonstrated by a suitably equipped third
party that the proofs conform, but there's no mention of any requirement for
subsequent certifications down the track.

Does anyone have any ideas or know of a suitable time period? How long can
you feel confident that you conform before you re-test, or is it a self
policing thing? I thought maybe an internal check of all the requirements
might be useful every six months or so?

Ta, bee
