Xerox 8000 color management

The department next door to us has a xerox 8000 (digital press?), and they've done nothing to color manage it. They've asked me to take a look at it. Is anyone here familiar with the software that drives it? I've never used it, so any suggestions would be much appreciated.

I have an i1 pro and the profile maker 5 suite of apps.
