Color management settings are supposed to work identically in
Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Can someone explain why an image printed from InDesign doesn't match
the image printed from Photoshop?
Test setup: PDI Test Image, RGB, embedded profile Adobe RGB (1998),
Printer Phaser 8560, custom CMYK profile. Monitor Cinema Display,
custom profile. OSX 10.4.11.
Image prints correctly from Photoshop CS2.
Same image printed printed from InDesign CS2 (Synchronised color
setting Bridge CS2) prints differently.
I have tried every possible permutation of the color setting in
InDesign, including converting the source image to CMYK destination
profile in Photoshop. In every instance, the output printed from
InDesign doesn't match the Photoshop output.
