In a nutshell, the print path is different. I will not go into details (some
of us out here are still trying to figure it all out). But if you think that
all Adobe applications print the same numbers the same way, got bad news for
you. Seems Photoshop is the one app that's 'thinking different' if you will.

A lot of what makes the images look different has to do with the OS and
print driver too. But printing these days, certainly under Leopard is really
a bit messy.
