A real free offline working solution is:
http://quickgamma.de/QuickMonitorProfile/indexen.html
This can also be used to create a profile for a Mac, if you read out
the EDID data there (don't use the wrong values from the default
installed profile which is automaticly generated by OS X). Although
such a profile is only of minimal value IMO -- still might be better
then nothing.
