- Thread-topic: ProfileMaker 5500K Monitor Profile
I understand that it's a limitation of the tools and that LCDs can have their white point adjusted by LUT, if the tools allow it. I did not ask a general question though. I was asking specifically if ProfileMaker Pro can do this for an Apple Cinema Display. I recognized in my first post that I thought it wasn't possible, but asked here in case someone knew of a setting or work around that I was not familiar with.
Although we have many Eizo's which are calibrated with either basICColor or ColorNavigator, we also have a number of Apple Cinema Displays which are calibrated with PMP. We used to calibrate to a white point of 6500K but recently started calibrating to a white point of 5500K. I need to decide whether or not I have to recommend purchase of different software for calibrating these monitors, and I wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing something.

If you're tired of reading it then just stop reading it and please refrain from your immature little jabs that you always seem to post. My question was a very reasonable one.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this thread. I appreciate the help.

Right, but that's not a limitation inherent to LCD's that's an issue
with the tools you're using. There are certainly tools that will do what
you want.
