I like measurements from my Isis if you are talking about quality,
consistency and repeatability.
But how good is the profile if you measure only 50 patches? Look at
Bill Atkinson, he is making his icc profiles with 4000 patches.
There is no way profile made with ColorMunki will be as good as made
by Isis. If it is - who will buy Isis anymore?
If someone is willing to pay $100 for a icc profile I believe that
profile will be better than ColorMunki made profiles because it will
not be made with colorMunki.
There are people that charge $20-$35 per icc profile - this maybe the
market Xrite is after since those people know what icc profile is and
that they need it to make a better prints. People like that don't have
a large format printer and a rip in front of it but they are "more"
serious about their prints.

What is Xrite market for this?
Well for starters, anyone wanting to build quality output profiles, or
measure an illuminant or display/projector in one, very well made
little
unit using the same technology found inside the iSis at a price
point that
makes those considering PrintFix Pro from the competition. I suspect
that
product is in a world of hurt now. The colormunki is vastly faster at
measuring far less patches and is doing so by providing true
spectral data
to a well built color engine.
