Make sure when you print the targets out of ID that you set the color
settings to "Emulate Adobe InDesign 2.0 CMS off.
I get a exact match to PS that way.

Jeff,
I spent some time with a client profiling their HP photo printer and I
proved that you can create good RGB profiles that work in Photoshop,
however, when you go to ID, using the same profile or by creating a
new
profile, I could not get ID to work as Photoshop did. And I followed
exactly
what Adobe suggested and a number of other possibilities.
This was a very frustrating problem.
Adobe's solution to fix this is to get a RIP. ID sure seems broken.
In my clients case, it was more cost effective to get a new printer
with a
limited edition (Epson RIP) of the Colorburst RIP that ships with the
printer. This solved the color matching problem when using an RGB
workflow.
