Is exporting to RGB PDF and let Photoshop RIP it to
a RGB file, then print from there, an option?
Not sure if the PMS objects will go CMYK first or not.
(don't have time to recheck the AI's export to PDF
workflow).

Because individual has more freedom to
indulge in his/her work. While a design
firm is a business entity, I think.
