But what would be the use of doing that within a G7 framework? Without
stability, the G7 conditions are lost. If that is seen as an OK thing to do
by the print provider, then they are also no longer honoring a commitment to
G7-compliant output results.

I'm simply stating that performing press maintenance, renewing consumables, ect, does not guarantee your press is in a repeatable state, and that previous compensation curves (created after the last maintenance) could be invalid, or otherwise less than ideal.
