of IPS:

BTW, there are some manufacturers that still only use S-IPS for the
professional graphical displays like NEC and Quato.
Others like Samsung (of course), EIZO and Lacie rely on S-PVA - with Lacie
having both, low end with S-IPS and Pro series with S-PVA while EIZO uses
IPS only for the "outdated" displays.
