i1Match is about the only App I've tried in terms of mirroring and projectors.

Aw, man there's a whole big world out there! EOM is one of those apps that isn't always smart about calibrating the correct display in mirrored mode. As for quality, I've seen situations in which CEDP/ Optix performed dramatically better than EOM/beemer on a projector. I've come to really, really hate DLP, like LCD and love LCoS projector technology. I try to avoid DLP like the plague, and flat out refuse to use them for color oriented presentations.

p.s. For those that give a hoot about projectors, NEC's just released NP500W is really exceptional in it's price range. DVI, wide aspect, 3000 lumens, 1280x800 native, speakers - not bad for under $1000
