I am extremely happy with my 30" Dell UltraSharp.

It is SHARP (finer dot pitch than 27"), is now $1200 and calibrates
beautifully with my Spyder3 Elite. Excellent match to my Epson 9800 with
4700K halogen view lights.

Excellent viewing angles also. Better and cheaper than the Apple Cinema 30".
