You were supplied an important white paper
So what? Do you think everything that's written on paper is correct
just because it's written there?
Of course I knew this paper already, it's one of the reasons why I am
at odds with this distinction, because I don't agree with its
reasoning and think it's conceptually flawed.
You keep repeating the same attitude: if I disagree with you, the only
thing that comes to your mind is that this must be because I did not
understand something. You're so infallible that if only someone gets
everything right, he will find himself in accordance with you each and
every time.
Luckily, we don't need this conceptual framework for the issue at
hand, and I will not discuss it any further with you.
For instance, evaluating Lightroom with some Adobe default camera
profile, this would be the image exported in the default working
space (Adobe 1998).
Default working space? Wrong again. There is no default.
When you launch Lightroom for the first time and choose to export some
(previously added) image in TIFF format, Adobe 1998 is suggested by
default. Of course you can select another space instead.
