So what? Do you think everything that's written on paper is correct just because it's written there?

Well it was peer reviewed, its on the ICC site, it was co-written by a color scientist. Do I think you need to read it because if your inability to understand the important differences in scene and output referred? Yes indeed. You were asked by another color scientist about this and failed to answer him, I have to assume that you still don't understand the important differences.

Do you think everything that's written on paper is incorrect or have you even read it?

Of course I knew this paper already, it's one of the reasons why I am at odds with this distinction, because I don't agree with its reasoning and think it's conceptually flawed.

Well by all means, enlighten us....

You keep repeating the same attitude: if I disagree with you, the only thing that comes to your mind is that this must be because I did not understand something.

The difference is, when I and others disagree with you, we supply references and facts. You haven't as yet done this.

You're so infallible that if only someone gets everything right, he will find himself in accordance with you each and every time.

I'm hardly infallible but I do listen to those who have a bloody clue, some of whom have asked you to clarify your procedures (to be ignored) while you continue to make half baked or totally incorrect posts. Its getting difficult to justify the expenditure of time to set you on the right course. The Adobe bias should have been a clue that you're not really interested in understanding these processes but instead using this list because you like the sound of your own voice.

When you launch Lightroom for the first time and choose to export some (previously added) image in TIFF format, Adobe 1998 is suggested by default. Of course you can select another space instead.

Its sticky from last use. And as Bob pointed out, you once again failed to even READ the bloody instructions, then made a assumption which is flat out wrong about a default working space. It once again shows the weakness of your mindset to structure anything close to a scientific methodology. Clean up your act, listen to some of the people here with true color science bkgnds, ask some polite questions, do your homework, then come back and present your ideas, I mean data.
