Many give you (provide) high bit, linear encoded data. None give you a

All I can say is how lucky we are that this forum gives those people
who couldn't sell the output of their scanners and cameras the
opportunity to give us (who do) their fine words of encouragement
and support.
You're being awfully hard on yourself.
Your next class assignment is to figure out what a Raw file is!
