Perhaps you are not using the Epson driver? From the way I've seen
this play out on other peoples' machines, the combination of Mac
OSXx and Epson printer driver somehow causes certain key settings
from not being retained so on a Mac you need to cycle twice through
all the setting before printing to make sure that colour management
isn't being duplicated between PS and the printer driver, and that
the profile you selected remains in place, etc. This problem does
not occur with WINXP (I know, because this is what I use). It is
something that needs to be sorted out between Epson and Apple.

What "mess"? What am I doing differently from others that gives me
no trouble?

Hi Mark.
I confess that I have not yet migrated to Leopard. I'm still using
Tiger. So, that may be why I am not experiencing such problems.
I've always been cautious about the early adoption of new operating
systems, and it seems that with Leopard it proved prudent to allow
some time to pass so that it would sort itself out, instead of
jumping on the bandwagon. Almost one year and many bug fixes later,
things may now be alright.
This problem does not occur with WINXP (I know, because
this is what I use). It is something that needs to be

Let's remember not to hold our breath... :-)
