Hi Graeme
I think you may be correct about Linocolor and it being an old
EuroScale profile. But it could be anybody's. In the old (pre-ISO)
days, many of us used to build our own "EuroScale" profiles for our
customers. With 360 TAC it would be safe to assume that they are
printing sheetfed on a good stock such as Paper type 1 or 2. The
newest and most common ECI profile for this is of course the Fogra 39
data-set based "ISOcoated_v2_eci.icc". This will only give you about
340% TAC with a Black in the low to mid 90s% using Relative however,
with probably a bit less from Perceptual. These days it is common to
have the Black in the 90's, or even 100%, with corresponding lower
TAC. The UK is rapidly coming around to using ISO 12647. You could of
course use Photoshop's old "Euroscale Coated V2" which will give about
90% Black. Many UK companies are still using this, believing it to be
an Official Standard.
Good luck

A new (old!) client has asked us to supply an image we retouched in
Offset Euro pos U360 K85
profile.
I did a google and found a bit of info about it, but it all seemed
very out of date and old.
Was it a Linotype scanner output profile?
What would be a similar (if any) comparible profile from ECI?
I take it the U360 refers to TAC and K85 the black.
Is Euro like the Eurostandard / Euroscale of old?
They are printing in CMYK and a 5th spot colour.
Many Thanks for advice if possoble.
Graeme
