colorsync bug with ICC table-profiles

  • Subject: colorsync bug with ICC table-profiles

hi all,

after some calibration tries with colornavigator (eizo), basiccolor and an eye-one i got the following problem:

in mail and ical the activated account in the left row, which is normaly in darker background and white text, there is now black text. this effect only apperas, when calibrated ICC profile is choosen. normal ICC profiles do not make this bug.

i got contact to the distributor of the calibration-software "basiccolor" - his answer: its a colorsync bug - colorsync is not able to handle "table-generated" profiles in the right way, instead of "matrix-generated".

i would prefer the "table-generated" calibration, since its more exact.

does anyone know, whats apple is thinking about it - maybe there is a solution for it?

greetings from germany,
thomas
