CororChecker SG CIE reference values (or lack of)

  • Subject: CororChecker SG CIE reference values (or lack of)

Someone has reported to be that after purchasing an X-Rite CororChecker SG in Germany, that they discovered that this US$300 chart does not come with either CIE or Spectral reference files, nor do any appear to be available from the manufacturer.

Given that far more humble references such as IT8.7/2 charts come with
such reference files, this boggles the mind a bit.

Can anyone confirm that this is the situation ?

What good is it selling a reference chart without the
corresponding reference values ?

Graeme Gill.
