The right setting is the one that provides a match to the print
viewing conditions. So YMMV.
As for Eizo, my guess would be, higher you drive the display, less
lifespan out of the unit.
But this idea that 120-140cd/m2 is "ideal" is silly unless in the same
sentence, you define the viewing conditions and said conditions are
such that those settings produce a visual match.

So why do Eizo recommend 80, and say that use over 120 invalidates
their warranty?
