80 is great; in the dark, to prepress standards. 120 is much more
practical for moderate lighting, the kind that allows you to see your
way in and out of the room, without tripping over things... the
relationship people keep forgetting is that display luminance (and to
a certain degree, display whitepoint) are relative to your ambient
light (or proofing light, if you have it) levels.
