Exactly which "users", Edmund? Committed fine artists or medium-level
amateurs?
"So hard to use"? Hardly (pardon the pun). Obviously it depends on who uses
the tools and how motivated he/she is to build up the knowledge and
expertise necessary to produce good-to-excellent results.
"Decently and quickly"? Those are both terms that are very much subject to
individual definition. I may consider it "quick" to get task A done in one
day, whereas you may demand that it be done in two hours. And so forth. So,
descriptively, I consider those words fairly useless.
In closing, you don't make good cuisine using either inferior ingredients or
poor preparation techniques. The good ingredients require a reasonable
financial investment, and the good preparation techniques require a
motivated learner who is willing to invest substantial time in studying up,
as well as trial and error.
Color management can be as good as you want to make it, given adequate time,
personal commitment and suitable resources.
