My point is that I consider Color Management to be so hard to use that
the chances of someone getting a difficult task like flowers done
decently and quickly when working alone are close to zero. Let's drop
the talk about camera metamerism, fluorescence, IR sensitivity and
other entertaining preocupations of us fine members of this list: -
Real world practice means that a novice will have his pictires f***ed
up very nicely by the standard user-level CMS configuration issues
before hitting topics which are covered in the color consultant
certification cramsheet.
And yes Ann, I do think users deserve better.
