first-hand countless times.

The paragraph I responded to wasn't about RelCol + BPC, it was about Perceptual without BPC. I quote again:

Would you please care to bring up a practical example, detailed and
repeatable, that illustrates your point in terms that we can all understand?

I hardly think a practical example is necessary, - it's logically impossible to construct a destination profile that contains fixed transforms (B2A tables) that can transform a range of unknown at the time of destination profile creation source colorspace black points to the destination black point.

Again, I have no great interest in points of theory made without concrete
examples which back them up.

The very use of BPC by many people is example enough !
