i.e. there seems to be at least /hardware/ support for 30 bit color on
all interfaces (DisplayPort as well as DVI and analog) with this
graphics card -- but what about the software (OS, Drivers, Applications)?
OpenGL should support 16-bit unsigned integer buffers. So that with the
appropriate drivers seems no problem.
Many movie and animation tools, e.g. blender make extensive use of OpenGL.
Krita can render to OpenGL too.
