Hi, List
I know a similar question has been asked before, but after reading all
the responses in the forum archives (way back in 2004), I still have not
found an answer that clarifies my doubts.
Density can be calculated from spectral values, obtained, say, with an
EyeOne. Both Phil Green and Bruce Lindbloom provide nice spreadsheets to
derive densities (Status A is what I care about) starting from spectral
measurements.
The numbers obtained with those tools are consistent and almost match
those I obtain using the coefficients from the ISO 5-3:1995. But, and
here is the problem, are fairly different from the density values
calculated with MeasureTool.
Does anybody know the weighting curves used in the MeasureTool to
derive "their" ANSI A density values ?
Best regards,
Ignacio
