No Andrew, I think Epson have been trying very hard. The reality is
that Apple simply don't care about the graphics pro market anymore,
that they've pulled the rug out from under all print system
stakeholders by moving things around.
Ah, so its Apples fault.... Just want to know who to demonize here.
Its so useful to the discussion.
As to help, well we could all sign a nice polite petition to Apple on
this Apple-owned list saying that we want a clean DOCUMENTED
no-profile-applied, "No color Adjustment" print path available to any
app, and selectable by the user, so that the app can decide what
transform it wants to apply to get to device space.
So assuming such a petition worked and Apple did this, these issue
would be solved?
So instead of trying to figure out, why only some users, with
presumably some configurations are having problems, while most are
not, we should instead work on a petition. Interesting idea of solving
this particular problem.
