I don't know about the maximum length of the DTP-70.
Presumably this is a limit imposed by the drivers.
Um, the limit is 15 inches and, as Bret pointed out, one can override
ColorPort's DTP70 limits and defaults by modifying the 020.DTP70.xml
file. The limits are well reasoned so one should be careful overriding
them.
The more daring could probably drive the iSis directly and make the
length as long as wanted...
Or do so on the DTP70 as well. Lots of DTP70 owners won't give up
their units for the iSis which can't load as broad a range of thick
media (like 400-500gsm canvas, cotton rag, etc). The DTP70's smaller
headers and footers also mean that one can make 1728RGB and IT8.7CMYK
targets that fit on a smaller single page than the iSis.
