Yes, it depends on what you consider right for you. As for me, I've been in
this line of business long enough to know that what I have now suits my
needs and those of my range of clients. If you works *for others*, then it's
more likely that you will HAVE to have access to professional tools.

Hold it: you mean, you would be dropping a grand on software with which you
may end up doing not much more than what you do with your current free
software. That's different from what the more expensive software would be
capable of doing otherwise if your needs were more extensive.

No, we probably agree that your needs are different from those of a person
like me, who must have both the tools and the knowledge to do a wide range
of imaging tasks on demand from clients who hire him.
