Hello everyone,
I, too, have been stung by the problems with color in Snow Leopard.
And, I use my MacBook Pro and Leopard to print now, because I can't get Snow Leopard to print to my Epson 9600 correctly.
BUT... Did I just read someone say that color management on Windows is superior to Mac?
I find color management (outside of Adobe applications, which work fine) on Windows to be completely inoperative. It more brain-dead than ever as far as I am concerned.
The Microsoft applications have no support for color management, and there is no functional work-around. Everything in the Windows world seems to rely on every image being in sRGB, and that's the end of the discussion.
There is no screen calibration software (there is hardware, of course), and Microsoft seems not to care.
Am I wrong?
