Regarding my choice of lighting
thank you for all your truly helpful responses,
Unfortunately I am unable to go with Solux M16's because the space is very
large and the building's energy profile means we are stuck with fluorescents
for now.
We have an proof-lite and a viewing booth so hopefully they will provide the
best conditions away from the monitor
I will look at the Philips TL950's thanks, I am also looking at these
Just-Normlicht tubes.

Has anyone seen a CRI figure for these? The website does not seem to quote
one.
I think for now, we will go with 5000k fluorescent for the general room
lighting, 6500k for the monitors and use the booths for the rest.
and thanks Walker, I will also look at building a gallery proofing space at
<3200K as that is where a lot of our work ends up too! I think I could use
Solux for that.
Thanks again.
Rob.
