Yes, that's a problem. Even the HP support guys told me that the problem was not with HP because they could not find a link to download drivers or the APS software from an HP-hosted site. Brilliant strategy. Blame someone else. Of course, the software is available on X-Rite's website: http://www.xrite.com/product_overview.aspx?ID=1144&Action=support&SoftwareID=959
and of course HP paid X-Rite to write it.

On a Mac, the X-Rite system panel identifies this custom colorimeter only as an "i1 Display."

Interesting... I got very good calibrations when the system worked correctly.

Unfortunately, that is also my experience.

Yes... It took me a long time to track down the software, even on the X-Rite site. Searching on X-Rite from DreamColor gives nothing useful - only press releases and that kind of stuff. No software or downloads. Search on HP? Yea, that's a good joke!
