Obviously the first time you calibrate a display, you reset everything to
the factory defaults and then follow the software instructions to make any
necessary adjustments (color, brightness/contrast, etc.)
When you re-calibrate a display (i.e. any time after the very first
calibration) do you do a factory reset and go through the entire process of
adjusting settings again, or do you leave everything as it was from the last
calibration?
I use an Eye One Pro and Eye One Match, and it doesn't instruct me to reset
the display to factory defaults every time. I've done it both ways, and
can't say I've seen a difference.
Just wondering what everyone else does. Perhaps this is a silly question...
but I like to ask them from time to time!
:o)
